Bay Area Fitness Center Gets Fat Kids To Exercise With Games

The Mountain View, CA based Overtime Fitness has a strict age limit of 13-18. This isn’t because they’re dirty perverts, but it’s because they’re focused solely on getting fat kids to get into shape. For a base fee of $109 and $59 a month, kids get access to all of the facilities.

What does all this money go into? How about games of In The Groove 2, a DDR knock off. Or Trazer, a virtual reality fitness game, or treadmills and bicycles that with screens that make you believe you’re actually doing the real thing. Then there’s Kilowatt Sport, a resistance based Xbox controller, and regular free weights, for when kids get tired of the gaming-based exercising.
