Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000 Has 2-megapixel Video Resolution

The Microsoft LifeCam NX-6000 is the upgraded version of the VX-6000, which ran at a 1.3-megapixel video resolution. Now at 2.0 megapixels, which qualifies as high-definition, the NX-6000 can take 7.6-megapixel stills as well. There’s a 3x optical zoom, and Windows Live Messenger integration, such as pan and tilt control.

It will be $100 in November, after which we’ll be seeing loads of 1600×1200 videos of ugly girls on youtube, which then resizes it down to crappy resolution anyway, so their new camera will be a waste.
