Looking for a point and shoot or DSLR at a discounted price? Who isn’t in this economy, right?! Well, Pentax is discounting four of their popular models for the next week.

The Optio E70 and P70 both had $20 knocked off and are now going for $120 and $180, respectively. The Optio W60, one of my picks for best gadgets last year, is now $50 cheaper at $250. And Pentax’s entry-level DSLR, the K2000, also had $50 knocked off and can be had for $550, which includes an 18-55mm lens and flash.

Amazon.com has a one-day deal on the Pentax K2000 digital SLR. It’s a 10.2-megapixel shooter with an 18-55mm lens and an AF200FG flash.

UPDATE: It’s all sold out. That was quick.

Other features include a 2.7-inch LCD screen, 3.5 frames-per-second continuous shooting mode, and simultaneous RAW and JPEG image capture. The camera uses SD and SDHC memory and four AA lithium batteries.

It’s normally priced at $599.95 through Amazon but it’s $399.99 today only. You also get a free Pentax DSLR crossover bag when you buy the camera.

Pre-sale begins for 'Stormtrooper' Pentax K2000 DSLR

Last month, Pentax announced that a limited run of white K2000s would be coming and they’re now up for pre-order on Pentax’s online store.
