If you’ve been watching for the Nyko Zoom for Kinect, the space-shrinking lens system that allows you to use the Kinect in a smaller room, you only have a little over two months to go. The kit will ship on August 23 for $29.99. We covered the Zoom at E3 this year and you can see me try it out after the jump. → Read More
The Nyko Zoom is a great idea. It’s basically a lens set that sits over your Kinect that reduces the space the Kinect needs to sense you in three dimensions. That way you can feasibly stand just a few feet from the Kinect and do all your running and jumping without fear of falling into furniture.
Specifically, the device reduces the necessary space needed to play Kinect by 40%. We tested it… → Read More
Want to experience the joy of Kinect, but happen to have a small living room? Nyko wants to help you out. They also want to help you out if you are in any way unhappy with your 3DS. Well, no, it can’t actually make the 3D “sweet spot” bigger, but their new accessories do help in other ways. → Read More
We haven’t heard about too many heat issues with the new slim Xbox 360, but for those who run the console 24/7 it may be worth looking into a cooling system. Nyko just recently announced their Intercooler STS system made exclusively for the slim Xbox. Thankfully, the system is smart and only runs when it needs to, keeping noise levels down. Power comes from USB and it looks like the unit blends… → Read More

Consider yourself lucky because Nyko just dropped two controller bundles just for you. The Action Pak is a combo Wand controller (like the Wii Remote) and Pistol Grip attachment that’s the first and only digitally activated gun accessory. What’s worse than having your Xbox 360 controller die during the middle of a game? Not being able to find replacement batteries, of course. Rechargeable batteries are a viable option, but those don’t seem to last as long as we’d like, right? They can be spendy as well. → Read More
My thoughts on Rock Band/Guitar Hero accessories haven’t changed and I doubt they ever will, but Nyko’s Metal Pedal looks bitchin. Or course, my affinity for anything with skulls may be clouding my judgement, but a ‘heavy-duty’ replacement pedal that works for all Rock Band and Guitar Hero titles across all platforms might actually be worth $20. Besides the skull graphics, the Metal Pedal… → Read More

One of the biggest issues I had with the Wii was the Nunchuck. It felt bolted onto the the console and was basically a way to add a few triggers and an analog stick to the Wiimote. Not amazing and, when in the heat of battle, prone to flinging out of your hand and flailing wildly. Nyko took a look at the Nunchuck, said we can make this better, and has with their $34.99 wireless solution. → Read More
