Don’t look now, but a UK retailer has the the brand-spanking-new Sony NEX-5 cameras in stock. We can’t say that about a single US-based seller right now so this seems like the best bet if you must be the first kid on the block with Sony’s latest camera. There’s no doubt that the Sony NEX-5 and NEX-3 are hot cameras. They mate interchangeable lens with a very slim body that houses a low-noise 14.2MP sensor. But apparently the user interface has been reworked to be a lot more user friendly. The Sony NEX-3 and NEX-5 leaked-out late last night and surprised the Internet with their down-right sweet styling. Well, Sony has gone and made the pair official, announcing the NEX-5 will retail for $650 with the NEX-3 fetching $550.
