Sony's NV-U35 is more than just a portable navigation system

Sony Japan today announced [JP] the “nav-u NV-U35″, a portable navigation system that also can be used as a music and video player. The device comes equipped with 8GB of internal flash memory and a 3.5-inch LCD screen with QVGA (320×240) resolution. It supports video in MPEG-4 AVC/H.264 (Baseline Profile), MPEG-4 (Simple Profile) and WMV (VC-1 Main/Simple Profile) formats.

Sony announces four new nav-u GPS units

Sony is adding upon their line of GPS systems with four new models, NV-U94T, NV-U84, NV-U74T and NV-U44. Picking up where the NV-U73T and the NV-U83T left off, the new units add some new features for the form factors. The top of the line U94 adds a photo viewer and A/V player.
