Widget Provider MixerCast Takes $6 Million Series B

San Mateo based embeddable widget provider MixerCast has taken $6 million Series B in a round led by Intel Capital that included ONSET Ventures and Velocity Interactive Group. ComVentures Merges With Velocity, Gets A Much Needed Fresh Start

Ross Levinsohn (former President of Fox Interactive) and Jonathan Miller (former Chairman and CEO of America Online) launched Velocity Investment Group earlier this year with the goal of acquiring and investing in digital media startups.
