Mixcloud brings its 'YouTube-for-radio' to iPhone

Mixcloud, the ‘YouTube of radio’ (see our recent TechCrunch TV interview), has finally brought its offering to the iPhone in the form of a native app.

The Mixcloud iPhone app gives on-the-go access to the London startup’s library of on-demand radio – DJ mixes, radio shows and podcasts, along with 100s of thousands of other “Cloudcasts” that have been uploaded to the service. The app is in Beta… → Read More

Mixlr wants to be an 'audio UStream' for DJs and live bands – we have invites

Mixlr, a sort-of UStream for audio, wants to make it easy for DJs and bands to share and stream live performances to fans. The service, founded by London-based Rob Watson (a recent graduate of the Music Informatics department at the University of Sussex), is currently in a closed beta, although TechCrunch Europe has 200 invites to give away to readers.

Mixcloud adds real-time activity stream
