When the word “Laserdisc” comes to mind, I think of three things: Dragon’s Lair, Space Ace, and failed technology. Luckily, nostalgic fans of the animated Dragon’s Lair will be excited to know that it will be coming back in the form of a Blu-ray disc. Come April 9th, you’ll be able to leap over pits, fight dragons, and walk through dark corridors in HD with 5.1 surround sound. A company called Digital Leisure will be releasing the game totally redone and retouched on Blu-ray, targeting PS3 owners for sure. And just as you expected, Space Ace and Dragon’s Lair II: Time Warp will be released on Blu-ray in the future as well.
