CrunchArcade: The most in-depth MGS 4 feature you'll ever read

Edge, the expensive yet professionally unmatched British gaming mag, calls Metal Gear Solid 4 “a bang of a finale, not a whimper.” High praise that should put to end any “but will the game be good?” speculation. Like last month’s expansive GTA IV preview (which I bought at Barnes and Noble last week, along with that 2600), Edge devotes several thousand carefully… → Read More

Rumor squished: Metal Gear Solid 4 not coming to 360, it's final

The longtime whispers of MGS4 coming out on the 360 have been smushed by a Konami rep, who says that it is indeed a PS3 exclusive and there are no plans to develop a 360 version. People thought that even with epic sales it would be impossible for the team to break even, given the enormous development costs of this gaming juggernaut. Thus the rumors were born and propagated — perhaps a later… → Read More

CrunchDeals: Konami arcade game for $320 with code

Is it just me or has Linens ‘n Things really been getting aggressive with gadgets and whatnot? I mean aggressive in a good way, too. Take this "full size" Konami arcade game, for instance. MSG4 is probably going to be the defining game for the platform, the PS3′s Gears of War as it were. However, if it comes out on 360 later, it could hurt Sony’s bottom line and no one wants that. This is all rumor and… → Read More

Konami Characters And Their 1980s Counterparts

This is quite possibly the most awesome set of comparisons ever. For years I’ve been saying that the guy from Contra looks like Arnold and sure enough, according to this Shamoozal article, he does. A bunch of characters from Konami games have been compared to their 1980s counterparts and boy are the results right on the money. Aside from Contra, you’ll also find comparisons for games… → Read More

Konami's Digital Life Lineup

Digital Life is just around the corner, and for those of us who live and breathe video games, it’s a damn exciting time. Other than Wii remotes flying around and functioning Playstation 3 units(hopefully), you can expect game developers to bring some highly anticipated titles to the show floor. Right now, there is one game almost every gamer out there is waiting for: Konami’s (and… → Read More
