http://www.gametrailers.com/remote_wrap.php?mid=43632 This is the trailer for Grand Theft Auto IV: Lost and the Damned. It debuted last night at the laughable Spike TV Video Games Awards—I’m sure we’ll post the winners at some point today—and it looks, I don’t know, quite aggressive. Loud music, bikers, the colors brown and gray, etc. The trailer only mentions Xbox… → Read More
The PC version of Grand Theft Auto IV, which will be downloadable via Steam, comes out on Wednesday. The reviews embargo, however, must have lifted overnight in Europe as magazines there already have posted their reviews online. Can’t wait. → Read More
MTV has an interview with developer Jeronimo Barrera in which the GTA IV delay is cited as a good thing (why not squash bugs and polish for a couple more months) and also as being caused by the PS3 version. They’re “identical” now (except the 360 version doesn’t need a hard drive) but that the PS3 development contributed significantly to the delay is “really no… → Read More
Time will tell whether or not Microsoft’s $50 million for exclusive GTA IV content will pay dividends. Reports currently circulating the Internet suggest that Microsoft emptied its coffers to the tune of $50 million so that Rockstar produces exclusive, downloadable content for the Xbox 360 version of the game. If that’s true, then the 360 version is certainly the one to go for. Sorry… → Read More
