Fuze Launches Telepresence Connect To Integrate With Polycom, Tandberg And Others

FuzeBox, the developer of an online meeting software, is launching a new product today, Telepresence Connect, which integrates with existing telepresence systems, including Polycom, Tandberg and LifeSize. Telepresence Connect essentially extends video conferencing and voice from these legacy systems to any mobile device or computer through the integration with Fuze Meeting.

Fuze’s video technology provides a WebEx-like conferencing service that allows users to share screens and run meetings online. As opposed to its competitors, Fuze promises a sleeker more lightweight interface that incorporates HD video. → Read More

AT&T Fuze dropping at $299 on November 11th

AT&T Fuze. You know, the slick slider from HTC, appears to be hitting stores on November 11th and will carry a $499 price without a contract or $299 after a $50 mail-in rebate with a two year contract. The deets come via an internal AT&T equipment brief document which, other than the price and availability, doesn’t reveal anything we didn’t already know. Initial thoughts? $100 more than the iPhone and that’s all that matters in a world strapped for cash. → Read More

SanDisk to offer music on microSD cards, movies too?

Those of you who like the feeling of a tangible object that holds your music purchases might be interested in what SanDisk is planning with its microSD cards. It’s giving away a free microSD card loaded up with 55 music tracks with the purchase of a new 8GB Sansa Fuze player. The company’s expected to announce more content offerings in the future. It could work, too, since microSD slots can be found on all sorts of digital music players and cell phones. The 12GB cards can hold two full-length movies with room to spare. → Read More

SanDisk working on new Sansa Fuze?

[photopress:sansa_fuze.jpg,full,left]While it’s not official, SanDisk is getting ready to launch a new mid-market PMP called the Fuze. Aimed at the 3rd generation iPod Nano, the Fuze will be an SSD-based tiny-screen having PMP that appears to have almost all the same features as the iPod Nano, plus an FM radio, but with more storage, possibly up to 16GB. So far, SanDisks PMPs have been pretty decent, I’ve had a Sansa for awhile and it’s a great alternative to the iPod. You contrarians should have love in your hearts for this device.
