Screen shot 2012-08-20 at 1.28.20 PM

Motorola has a big push coming. We have an invite for September 5 to a some secret event, and even more evidence of a Droid Razr HD has hit the web, confirming that Google’s mobile hardware team is ready to go toe-to-toe with the Samsung Galaxy S III in a couple of weeks.

And just as the iPhone price gets slashed before the next-gen model hits the market, so shall Verizon cut the prices of all… → Read More

Verizon’s Droid RAZR Family Finally Gets A Taste Of Ice Cream Sandwich

Motorola Droid RAZR

Verizon’s Droid RAZR and its fatter, longer-lasting brother the RAZR Maxx are fine devices, but let’s face it — Gingerbread is a bit passe at this point.

The carrier has promised since launch that the device(s) would eventually get a taste of Ice Cream Sandwich, and later pointed to a vague launch window some time in the first half of 2012.

Well, that day has finally come (and with… → Read More

Motorola Employee Takes A Picture Of His Desk, Possibly Confirms Existence Of Droid Razr HD

exiffighter

It would appear that Motorola is putting even more of an effort into its resurrected Razr line. Just a few months after the hotly anticipated Droid Razr stepped onto the scene, Motorola offered the same unit with an upgraded battery, making the Droid Razr Maxx my new favorite Android phone with an 8+ hour battery life (and that’s under extreme duress).

Today, just a few months after the Razr… → Read More

Wish Your Droid Razr Had Maxx Battery Life? It Can!

razrmaxxbatt

When the Droid Razr Maxx first arrived I was filled with mixed emotions. On the one hand, I was truly excited that Motorola found a way to make the Razr a plausible option — the original battery life on that thing is atrocious. On the other hand, I felt bad for the folks who went out and bought a Razr only to have an (almost) identical device with twice the battery life land a couple months… → Read More

Verizon’s Droid RAZR MAXX Seems To Be The Droid RAZR With Better Battery Life

Razr MAxx

Remember the exceptionally long-named Droid RAZR MAXX that got spotted in Verizon’s inventory system a few weeks ago?

It’s real now — and so far it seems to be… pretty much the same as the Droid RAZR, save for extra storage space and claims of a super long battery life. → Read More

MotorolaDroidRAZRReview:SoClose,YetSoFar

The Droid RAZR has been one highly anticipated phone, but can its performance keep up with the hype? Is it too big to be comfortable? Is there a catch that comes along with that 7.1mm waist line? Does 4G LTE paired with a dual-core processor really make a difference? Well, it’s basically the entire point of my existence to answer these questions for you. So off we go. → Read More

Droid Razr To Taste Ice Cream Sandwich Update In First Half Of 2012

razr7

Motorola’s Droid Razr made quite the splash yesterday thanks in part to its impressive hardware, but the Android build that it runs seems bit quaint now thanks to Ice Cream Sandwich. No worries, though: if you pick up a Droid Razr when it ships in November, you should be getting the Android 4.0 update in early 2012. → Read More
