While gamers around the world are pining for their online play and PSN store access, the companies that rely on the service to sell games are really feeling it. How many of you played Resident Evil 4 and thought to yourself, “Man, Leon has a really nice jacket”? I certainly did. Like, I really did: I walked around stupid New York trying to find a jacket that even resembled his jacket. No luck. If only Capcom had thought of this sooner, then. → Read More

Remember when the first Okami game was released? You were probably like, “Well, that certainly looks different, and great.” It still looks great, particularly in a world dominated by games whose entire color palettes are limited to brown, dark brown, and darker brown. (Team Fortress 2 should be given an award for successfully using the color yellow in a shooter.) And just as importantly as… → Read More
A senior Capcom guy recently said in an interview that he believes retail will always have a place in game sales. It seems like an unwise thing to say when online distribution volume is growing like crazy, but I think he has a point. → Read More
Looks like we won’t be playing Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition on the PC anytime soon. (Meh: we’re all busy playing Civilization V and F1 2010.) Capcom blames piracy, as always. → Read More

The announcement was made last week, making the iPhone version the first on a mobile device (the arcade game has been ported to the PS3 and XBox 360 only so far).
And today, Gamepro was able to lay their hands on… → Read More

It contains cut scenes, gameplay sequences and a few spoilers – you’ve been warned. → Read More
I posted some pictures of Sony’s and Ubisoft’s booth at this year’s Tokyo Game Show yesterday, but booth-wise, Square Enix, Microsoft (Xbox 360) and Capcom made quite a strong showing, too. Here’s some proof. → Read More

Capcom has just announced the Platinum Hits Triple Pack for a late summer launch that includes Dead Rising, Lost Planet: Extreme Condition – Colonies Edition and Devil May Cry 4. I haven’t spent too much time with Dead Rising but I’ve played the others and all three together… → Read More
