The day has finally arrived, folks. RIM’s BlackBerry Curve 8900 is officially available for the masses from T-Mobile here in the States. You’ll have to shell out $300 but there is a $100 MIR bringing the grand total to $200 with a 2-year contract. Well, what are you waiting for?
Attention attention. Those of you who want the T-Mobile Bold 8900 please report to your local telephony stores and pester the kind men and women behind the counter to get it in because it seems to be shipping to select outlets. TMoNews has some pictures of the unboxing which I’m sure you’ll all enjoy. → Read More

Are you a T-Mobile subscriber that’s angry as all hell that the Bold won’t be making its way to T-Mo for the foreseeable future? Now take a deep breath. This won’t suppress our collective rage, but TmoNews is claiming that they’ve caught wind of the release date for the BlackBerry 8900. It’s no Bold, but the Curve II will be a fine addition to the carrier even though it’s sans 3G. The date? → Read More
This morning T-Mobile Germany announced the 8900 and now CellPhone Signal has found the FCC filing for North America. The baby Bold is expected to hit both GSM networks here in the US, but it’s unclear when that will be. For all the T-Mobile customers like myself, I hope it’s soon. Do I switch to AT&T to get the 3G Bold or suck it up and wait for the EDGE Curve II? → Read More
