Audiobooks.com Drops Prices To Compete With Amazon’s Audible

Audiobooks.com, a one-year old subscription service that competes with Amazon’s Audible.com, is today dropping its prices. Previously, the company had charged users $24.95 per month for unlimited access to its catalog of some 25,000 titles. Amazon's Audible.com releases BlackBerry app on App World

Amazon.com company Audible this morning announced that its BlackBerry app is now available on BlackBerry App World (apart from only on its own website).

Amazon to add Audible.com to its downloadables

Amazon.com will reportedly purchase digital audiobook provider Audible.com in the second quarter of this year for $300 million. Smart, smart, smart.
