The latest Transformers game hasn’t been getting very good reviews, but that doesn’t mean you can’t represent your Cybertron love with some Transformers gaming swag. Razer’s got a new line of Death Adders with Autobot and Decepticon logos and colors, along with a Prime-emblazoned Vespula mousepad and some serious-looking laptop sleeves. Personally I’m not a big fan of the Transformers relaunch (the 1986 movie has yet to be surpassed), but these tie-ins seem tasteful enough. → Read More
The next, and supposedly final, Transformers movie is due for release on July 1, but how can you have a popcorn movie without the popcorn? In this case “the popcorn” is Transformers themed 3D glasses. Hmm. → Read More
Oh, China. When it’s not trying to pass off Top Gun footage as anything other than a horrible movie it’s building the world’s biggest statue of Optimus Prime. Nothing wrong with that. → Read More
These are, well, amazing photos. The story goes Leo from TheChive simply walked past barricades and security surrounding the Transformers 3 shoot in downtown Chicago. His 56 published pics seem to confirm the tale. He seemed close enough to catch a whiff of McDreamy’s pheromones. Scary thought. → Read More
The stage is set. The lines are drawn. It’s the battle of the ages. Optimus Prime vs RX-78-2. Transformers vs Gundam. → Read More
So imagine you head into your office one day, and find that an alley outside your window has been turned into a set for Transformers 3 — there are cameras and booms and you can hear Michael Bay yelling. They’re about to pneumatically fire a car down the street (it’s been Transformer-punched, you presume) so you whip out your iPhone and start recording. Up it goes on YouTube and… down it comes off YouTube after Viacom instructs it to be removed under pretense of “matching third party content.” → Read More
I honestly didn’t know there was even going to be a third Transformers movie until a few minutes ago, but I guess it was to be expected. Anyway, Bumblebee himself has been spotted and is wearing a bunch of new OEM-looking mods. There’s a new front fascia, grill, ground effects, hood, rims, and an actually good-looking rear spoiler. But the design is so pedestrian (what’s with the antenna?) that the next Transformers Camero might share many of the same features. Click through for a bunch of pics including a couple with Megan Fox. → Read More
Last week, T-Mobile teased us all with a little jab on Twitter about the HTC HD2 that it will be shipping soon. It was exciting and, to be frank, it made me a little antsy. As promised, T-Mobile announced new features for the HD2 at Mobile World Congress today and I’ve gotta say, it isn’t all that thrilling. → Read More
I’m trying to remember the last good thing to come from the Transformers franchise and am sadly unable to do so. Well, that’s not entirely true, the awful Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen did have the magnificent Shia LeBeouf. Some girl named Megan Fox was also in the film, but no one really pays attention to her. → Read More
Brando, home of the odd USB device, finally has a product I want to order. No no, it’s not a heated slipper or a spy camera, it’s a Transformers USB drive. How cool is that? → Read More
This is just wrong. I’ll admit, I didn’t enjoy “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen”. I thought the plot was weak and contrived, and I was slightly offended by the dumbing down of the film (robot urination and racial stereotypes? give me a break). I realize that the original “Transformers” wasn’t exactly the height of cinematic art, but it was better then the sequel. → Read More
Yeah, we get it. It’s a Rubix Cube that’s supposed to look like the AllSpark of Transformers’ lore. Clever. Hopefully those shinny stickers come off nice and easy so I can solve the damn thing. $13.99 and coming in November. [Entertainment Earth via Gearfuse] → Read More

Autobots, roll out!
The first batch of DLC for Activision and Luxoflux’s Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is slated for an August 27 launch for the Xbox 360 (800 MS points) and PS3 ($9.99). The entire DLC list is detailed below but the quick and dirty version is as follows: eight new playable characters, three new character skins, three new multiplayer maps and a “Expert” level for single-player campaign. → Read More
My brother made a great car-based Transformer costume back in the day that he could actually roll in (pictures, brother?), but this is perhaps even more impressive. It’s apparently being used at a car dealership as some sort of promotion. If they could but guarantee any car I bought there would transform into a friendly robot, I would happily pay top dollar. → Read More

Big, bad Bay just pushed out the press release confirming the October 20 street date for both the DVD and Blu-ray of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. Both the DVD and Blu-ray versions will come in a two-disc variety (single disc DVD will be available as well). The two-disc packages will include “augmented reality technology” that give owners a chance to rebuild a broken down Prime using their webcam and a “special website.” A gaggle of other extras are available. Check those out after the jump. → Read More
I liked the Dinobots as a kid and wouldn’t mind seeing them in the third Transformers movie, but who am I kidding? I’m still unhappy with Prime’s moving lips. And for the record, I thought Revenge of the Fallen was entertaining even though Sam ends up in Prime heaven. Anyway, comicbookmovie.com is reporting that Bay was quoted in Empire’s September issue with the following: → Read More
