CrunchDeals: BitsDuJour Gets Into The Mac Bundle Game

BitsDuJour is best known as a Windows-only shop offering discounts on PC software. Now, however, they’ve created a $50 bundle of 10 programs that work on Mac or PC and they’re offering it for the next ten days. The package includes LastPass, a password protection program, as well as a few tidbits like ScreenCalipers for measuring your screen and some photo editing warez. Also included is BitDefender for defending bits and a collection of handwriting fonts for your Comic Sans pleasure. Overall it’s an acceptable deal. → Read More

We did manage to dug up a few legitimate tech deals that are worth your time. Curious? Sure you are. Click through for the complete run-down. → Read More

CrunchDeals: 10% Off Megapots and V-Vessels

Northern Brewer, my favorite brew shop, has 10% of their megapots for beer brewing or their excellent and amazing V-Vessel for winemaking. The V-Vessel, for example, is a $180 barrel of fun that allows you to clear the sediment from your wort just but popping out the little globe at the bottom. It has turned winemaking into a real pleasure. → Read More

CrunchDeals: Watchismo's Oktoberfest Sale on German Watches

Watchismo has a great Fall sale going on featuring some of its more interesting German watches. I’m not a huge Tauchmeister fan – they’re kind of an eBay brand – but there are few cool pieces here and if you’re into the steampunk look, they might be for you. → Read More

Believe it or not, Apple has always made quaility networking products. The Airport Extreme Base Station is among the best consumer-grade router available. The only issue most of the time is the high MSRP, which no doubt forces some consumers to look elsewhere. Well, if you don’t mind buying a refurb, we have a deal for you. → Read More

CrunchDeals: 25% Off These Dell Ultrasharp IPS LCDs

The deals just keep on coming. If that laptop wasn’t your style but you still have a couple Benjamins burning a hole in your pocket, maybe you should consider picking up a new monitor. These Dell Ultrasharps are marked down quite a bit right now, and while I can’t speak to these models themselves, I do trust Dell to make a good monitor. I’ve been using one for a good five years now. The 21.5″ one will set you back $210, and the 23″ one will cost you $240. They’re both 1080p. What the… these deals are hella della good! CrunchDeals: 14" Core 2 Duo Laptop For $275 Shipped

This ain’t no hot rod laptop, but I’m going to be honest here, that thing is probably about as fast as my (aging) desktop, though the game performance is definitely not up to par, what with integrated graphics and all. Still, it’s a totally decent backup laptop — and that price really can’t be beat: $260 plus $15 for shipping. It won’t be available for long, though: it’s a limited time deal. Buy or fly! I guess stealing one would be cheaper. I don’t recommend that. Update: Deal’s over, people. Move along. → Read More

CrunchDeals: 2TB ioSafe Solo USB Fireproof/Waterproof Drive for $249

Buy Metroid: Other M And Get $20 Off MotionPlus Bundle

Gamestop (damn their eyes) has a deal right now where if you buy Metroid: Other M, you can pick up a MotionPlus bundle for $20 off. Total cost: a billion dollars. Well, more like $85 plus tax, but it’s still a fair chunk of cash. Of course, it’s better than the $105 you would have paid yesterday for the same thing. Man, this is why I play Super Nintendo. → Read More

CrunchDeal: Shuttle Barebones SX8J3

In the market for a small form factor PC, but not sure what to buy? Check out Shuttle’s special 3-day sale on Newegg. The box we’re talking about is the Shuttle SX8J3, a LGA 1366 motherboard jammed into a tiny case, all for “sub-$450″. Be aware that the price drop won’t show up until tomorrow (8/26) and only lasts three days. Shuttle products rarely go on sale, and this particular system typically retails for $529.99, so this is a pretty deep discount. → Read More

Some Solid Indie Game Deals At GamersGate

Online game store GamersGate has had a bunch of great indie games on sale, and I thought I’d highlight a few I noticed on the list today. I just played Braid finally (wow); if you haven’t yet, go pick it up for $4. Zombie Driver made me dizzy, but it’s a good time, and for $2.50 you can’t go wrong. I’ve heard good things about Flotilla, and a friend just showed me Osmos; both are under $4. I haven’t played Saira, but Nifflas is a great developer. It’s a new week, go get a new game. You deserve it. → Read More
