It’s been a busy year for European tech news. And with 2014 closing, I thought it would be fun to look back at the last twelve months through the lens of TechCrunch’s own European coverage and pick out my 7 moments of the year.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, many of the biggest tech stories in Europe had a regulation bent, but it wasn’t all tech companies clashing with governments, including news of a major U.S. VC fund crossing the pond, a fintech boom in the making, and the heartwarming realisation that European VCs are just like the rest of us after all.
