Reddit’s Official Android App Is Coming Soon

If you’ve been using third-party apps or the mobile version of Reddit on your Android device, you’ll be happy to know that the company is finally going to offer an official app for the platform.

Over on Reddit last week, the team shared the news:

Hi everyone! I’m the product manager for native mobile here at Reddit.
As many of you know, the team here has been working hard to bring our official native Reddit app to Android for a while now. Now that we’re getting close to having something to share, we’d love to invite some redditors to participate in the beta to provide us with feedback and help identify those nasty bugs so we can squash them before wide release.

All you have to do is fill out a quick survey about your device and your usage and you might get accepted into the beta program. There’s no launch date for the official Reddit Android app as of yet, but the team will be opening a private subreddit to take feedback while people are having a play.
