RebelMouse CEO Paul Berry Talks Publishing Platforms And Content Startups

RebelMouse founder and CEO Paul Berry joined us at Disrupt NY to talk about how the company has evolved from its early days as a social media aggregator.

“The product was always headed where we are now,” Berry said. He added that the company has built “an enterprise class CMS that’s solving for media companies — like startups that are venture-backed and large media companies — how you build your direct relationship with consumers, with an awesome site and apps that use all the latest viral trends and beautiful editing tools. And we’re doing the same for brands as well.”

Berry also talked about some of the sites built using RebelMouse, including cute animal website The Dodo, as well as Fatherly, which he described as “a babysitter for dads.” RebelMouse likes to work closely with publishers to build their sites and apps, and he said more and more publishers are using the platform because they’d otherwise need “a huge army of developers” to maintain their site and apps.
