Porch Launches Analytics And Marketing Platform For Home Professionals

Porch, a fast-growing and well-funded platform for homeowners who want to find out more about home remodelling projects and the professionals that can realize them, today announced a new service for these professionals on its service. The new Pro Dashboard provides pros with real-time access to data about their performance on Porch, the ability to use the service to stay in touch with past clients and keep track of their competition.

“The last year has been one of tremendous growth for our business,” said Matt Ehrlichman, Porch’s CEO. The company says that it now has over 2.8 million professionals on its service. That’s up from 1.5 million a year ago.

Because Porch is free for homeowners, the service’s business model relies on getting as many pros onto the service as possible. With this, it can gather more data about projects from them and sell more paid services to them.

Pros on Porch can sign up for free profiles and access most of the services on the platform — including many of the new analytics tools the company is launching today. For free, pros can now see basic analytics for their profiles, for example, including how often their profiles were seen by homeowners.

The other important feature here is that pros can also use this service to manage their conversations with potential clients by allowing them to track and manage all the calls and emails they receive from homeowners through the platform

Professionals who opt in to the paid Porch Premium service (starting at $100/month) will get access to a number of additional features. They can, for example, set up a watchlist and see when one of their past client moves to a new home. That’s obviously a good moment to reach out to a former customer because chances are, they’ll want to make some updates to their new house.

In addition, paying members can now also get more competitive insights through the platform to see how they ranks compared to other pros on the platform.
