Apple is reportedly holding an event for the iPad, OS X Yosemite and new iMacs on October 16, according to a report from Re/code today. The event will be held at Apple’s own Town Hall Auditorium at its Cupertino HQ, the site reports. The new iMacs could sport Retina displays, given that rumors earlier this week discussed these arriving at this official unveiling.
It’s always worth maintaining a bit of skepticism before things are officially confirmed by Apple invites, but this looks to be a lock, given Re/code’s track record of accurately calling the dates of Apple special events, including the one in September where the iPhone was revealed.
