It’s actually happening: Apple has announced its entry into the wearable space, the Apple Watch.
The biggest questions on everyone’s mind this morning: when can we get it and how much will it cost?
That’s a tricky question to answer, as there isn’t just one Apple Watch hitting the market. There are two sizes coming (so it won’t be ridiculous looking on those with smaller wrists) and it’ll also be available in both 18k gold and steel.
Today, Tim Cook didn’t break down the prices for each of those versions; instead, he simply said that it’ll be available in early 2015 and start at $349.
Those of you hoping to pick up Apple’s wearable with their new iPhone are going to be a little disappointed, but at least it means developers will have time to build apps for the device before its release.
