Berlin-based Web analytics company Webtrekk has closed its third round of financing, collecting a total of up to €25 million from DPE Deutsche Private Equity. Webtrekk competes directly with Google Analytics and Adobe Omniture to analyse a company’s web traffic.
It counts Zalando, Siemens, Hugo Boss and Tommy Hilfiger among others as customers. Admittedly it’s not about to supplant Google and Adobe, but not everyone wants to use Google…
It plans to use the cash to scale up, possibly acquire other companies, and has already opened offices in the US, China, Italy, Spain and the Benelux region. It claims customers in more than 25 countries.
DPE is an independent German private equity investment firm that specialises in long-term growth financing for medium-sized companies in German-speaking regions.
