Who’s Excited About The TechCrunch Meetups In Austin And Seattle?

Since Austin and Seattle have very little in common (other than awesome startups), I don’t have a very clever way of starting out this post. Luckily, I don’t really need one. The TechCrunch Meetups are awesome all on their own.

In June, TechCrunch is hitting up Austin (June 10) and Seattle (June 12) to bring our TC Pitch-Offs out West. Select startups will have exactly 60 seconds to pitch their idea to a panel of local VC judges and TechCrunch staff. Oh, and a jam-packed audience of the local tech community.

First place will receive a table in Startup Alley at the upcoming TechCrunch Disrupt. Second Place will receive 2 tickets to the upcoming TechCrunch Disrupt. Third Place will receive 1 ticket to the upcoming TechCrunch Disrupt.

Entrepreneurs with products in stealth or private beta are encouraged to apply (here for Austin and here for Seattle.)

And if you’re not an entrepreneur, or your company isn’t quite ready to present, we still want to hang out. There will be beer, cool startups to discover, and a whole lot of good times.

Tickets start at $10 (Austin and Seattle), and will go up during the week of the event, so make sure move quickly.

Here are the important deets:

The Austin meetup is on June 10, at Palm Door, and will go from 6pm to 10pm. The Seattle Meetup is on June 12, at Neumos, and will also go from 6pm to 10pm.

Agenda:

6pm – Doors Open
7pm – Pitch-Off
8pm – Winners Announced
8:15pm – Networking
10pm – Goodnight

Local startups and larger tech companies alike are invited to become a sponsor or exhibitor. For more information on how to sponsor these events, email sponsors@beta.techcrunch.com.
