Comcast wants to make all of its content available on all devices, including its mobile apps. With that in mind, the company announced this morning that it was adding a host of new live channels to its Xfinity TV Go streaming video app. The new channels include A&E, Bravo, Cooking Channel, DIY Network, E!, Food Network, HGTV, HISTORY, mun2, Oxygen, Sprout, STARZ, Syfy, TBS, TNT, Travel Channel, truTV, and USA Network. That brings the total number of live channels to more than 50, on top of 25,000 on-demand videos also available on the app.
