Apple Slips Default Bing Integration Into iOS 7

Apple just took the wraps off the next version of iOS. Gone are the faux felt and wood veneers. In its place iOS 7 will feature a sleek look that really pushes Apple’s mobile OS into the future (with a little stolen from startups).

Developers can snag the new OS from Apple later today followed by a general release this Fall. The iPad version will hit the dev channel in a few weeks.

The new mobile OS features a nearly complete new look. The familiar rows of icons remain, but they look and feel totally different — at least according to the on-stage antics at today’s Apple press conference.

Surely with developers getting access later today, snap judgement will surface coming from first-hand impressions. The rest of us will have to wait several months until Apple polishes the platform from developers’ feedback.
