LA-based GRP Partners is adding a new partner to its ranks for the first time in the past six years with the addition of former Hautelook CMO Greg Bettinelli. At GRP, Bettinelli will focus on investments in ecommerce, marketplaces and consumer applications.

Bettinelli spent nearly four years at flash-sales retailer HauteLook, which was acquired by Nordstrom in 2011 for $270 million. He also co-founded Santa Monica-based startup accelerator MuckerLab. Additionally, Bettinelli was the Executive Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Live Nation and led event ticketing and media at eBay and helped integrate StubHub into the commerce giant.

As a firm, GRP has raised nearly $1 billion across 4 funds. The company’s investments include Gravity, DataSift, and ZestCash. GRP is currently investing out of GRP IV, a fund raised in 2012.
