Send In Your Questions For Ask A VC With Comcast Ventures’ Michael Yang, Javelin’s Noah Doyle, And AngelList’s Naval Ravikant

We’ve got a busy week ahead in the TechCrunch TV studio for our Ask A VC series, where you put VCs in the hot seat. First up we have Comcast Ventures’ Managing Director Michael Yang. Later in the week, we’ll be joined by Javelin Venture Partners’ Managing Director Noah Doyle, and then investor and AngelList’s Naval Ravikant.

As you may remember, you can submit questions for our guests either in the comments or here and we’ll ask them during the show.

A former Yahoo VP, Yang joined Comcast Ventures in 2009. Previously, he was a Vice President/General Manager at Yahoo in the Media Group as well as the Local Markets & Commerce Division. During his tenure at Yahoo!, he managed Yahoo Autos, Yahoo Real Estate and Yahoo Health; co-led Yahoo Shopping; and was part of the team that formed Yahoo’s strategic alliance with the Newspaper Consortium. He’s also worked at Atlas Venture, Zaplet, and was a member of AOL’s Business Affairs team.

noahWe’re curious to hear what Yang thinks of Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer’s turnaround plan for the company. Yang also leads investing for Comcast in health technologies, so we’ll e asking him about which companies he’s most excited about in this space.

Doyle directed the enterprise product line for Google’s geospatial products, including Google Earth and Google Maps. Prior to Google, Noah managed the Marketing Strategy and Corporate Development functions at Keyhole, a company that created the first Web-hosted digital earth model and was acquired by Google in 2004. Considering the Google vs. Apple maps issues, I’d like to hear Doyle’s views on how this controversy played out.

Naval Ravikant is the CEO and co-founder of AngelList, a service that matches early-stage startups with investors. He was a co-founder at Genoa Corp (acquired by Finisar), Epinions.com and Vast.com. Ravikant is also a prolific angel investor, and has made angel investments in Twitter, Foursquare, BranchOut, Codecademy, Uber, Heyzap and Disqus. We’ll ask him about what his magic touch is when finding good bets as early investments.

naval-1AngelList, which is rumored to be raising a round of funding, has evolved into an incredibly powerful platform in the investing world.
