LG is cooking up a few different versions of its forthcoming flagship, the Optimus G Pro. According to various reports and leaks, the South Korea-bound iteration will look a lot like the Galaxy Note, sporting a 5.5-inch display as opposed to the 5-inch display in the Japanese version.

The company confirmed the different versions just yesterday, and today released a teaser photo for the massive 5.5-inch Optimus G Pro, which still maintains the same Full HD resolution as the Japanese model.

As you can see in the photo, the Korean Optimus G Pro is incredibly similar to the Galaxy Note II, especially with that elongated home button and rounded corners.

According to earlier leaks, the bigger version of the smartphone will come with the same quad-core 1.7GHz processor, 13-megapixel camera, 2GB of RAM and LTE as its baby brother, headed to Japan.

While both of these devices are all but confirmed, it’s still unclear whether or not Europe and the U.S. will have the opportunity to get in on the fun. And if so, which version will we get, the Galaxy Note II lookalike or the 5-inch beast?

MWC should shed some light on this, but until then we’ll keep our eyes open for more information.
