Bain Capital Ventures | Your Team

This week’s Ask A VC show is kicking off with Bain Capital Ventures’ managing director Ajay Agarwal who heads the firm’s Palo Alto office. You can submit questions for Agarwal either in the comments or here and we’ll ask them during the show.

Agarwal focuses on early-stage software, mobile, and Internet investments at the firm. Prior to Bain Capital Ventures, he was a senior sales and marketing executive at Trilogy Software. At Bain Capital Ventures, Agarwal has led investments in Kiva Systems (acquired by Amazon), Inrix, and Bloomreach among others.

2012 was a big year for Bain’s VC arm—the firm raised $600 million for new investments, and was focused on expanding its newly launched operations into Palo Alto. It should be interesting to see what Agarwal is excited about in the mobile and enterprise world and whether the firm still sees potential for disruption in e-commerce.

Please send us your questions for Agarwal here or put them in comments below!
