A Founder’s Life Has A Lot Of iPads In It – And Some Gratuitous Sex [NSFW]

The life of a founder isn’t an easy one — at least, initially. There’s no time for love, fun, or even sleep. The product, the users, the servers and the investors use up every available second of the day and night.

But entrepreneurs choose this difficult path in life, and they usually love it.

Runa Capital, a $135M technology-focused venture capital firm, appreciates the hard-working qualities of a founder, and have released the video (below) to celebrate sleepless entrepreneurs looking to disrupt our world. Also, to use a couple gratuitous sex scenes to get you to pay attention, share the video, and perhaps fork over part of your company.

Tomato, tomahto.

According to PR Director Masha Drokova, Runa is looking for “founders who are ready to work more than 100 hours per week, like the guy in the video. They should be focused on their startup, should be stubborn, and smart.”

Runa, led by senior founding partner Serguei Beloussov, is looking to invest in companies on seed, A, and B rounds in cloud computing, hosted services, virtualization, mobile applications and social. The firm has a widespread geographical network, covering the US, EU, Israel, with specific attention to Russia and CIS areas.

After growing popular current investments like NGINX and Jelastic, Runa hopes to continue that level of success through focus on software engineering, especially projects that are hard to clone and patentable, and a huge network of mentors, potential partners, and Runa investments to help move things along for the new guys.

If you’re a startup looking to get into SaaS, cloud computing, or other platform-as-a-service ventures, you might want to add Runa to your potential investor list.

Hell, they let you have sex, go to the beach, and hang out at the movies. The only stipulation is that you must be working throughout the entirety of those activities. Fair enough, right?
