Andreessen Horowitz has made another key hire to add to its powerhouse of talent—former Wildfire exec Tom Rikert. Rikert, who will be a partner at the firm, joins from Google, which bought Wildfire in August for $350 million.

Rikert, who will not be investing for the firm, will be working on the deal and research team. We’re told that he will focus specifically on the enterprise space.

Rikert is a big talent win for the firm. At Wildfire, Rikert was the director of product management, joining the social media marketing startup in 2010. He was a product manager for Google from 2006 to 2009, where he worked on YouTube and AdWords. He also held roles at Autodesk and Apple, and is a graduate of MIT and Harvard Business School.

Andreessen also recently brought on former Twitter employee Elizabeth Weil as a partner on the Market Development team, and earlier this year, hired early Foursquare employee Tristan Walker as an EIR. And Chris Dixon just joined the firm as an investment partner.
