
Another partnership for toptable: following deals last months with MyVoucherCodes and lastminute.com, the OpenTable-owned restaurant-booking service has inked a partnership with Yelp-acquired local reviews site Qype to provide real-time restaurant bookings for Qype.co.uk. The deal looks to be an extension of an existing partnership between toptable/OpenTable and Yelp, following the latter’s acquisition of Qype last month.
The partnership means users of Qype will be able to click through from a restaurant listing to search for table availability and book a meal via toptable — choosing from the nearly 4,000 UK restaurants that are toptable/OpenTable customers.
Qype is just the latest company to partner with OpenTable and toptable — which collectively have more than 600 partners worldwide including American Express, Bing, Google, Square Meal, Time Out, Yahoo! and Zagat.
