The FireDock is a specially designed speaker dock just for the Kindle Fire. Other devices may work, but they probably won’t be happy. It’s built by Grace Digital Audio and should cost $130 when it is released in July.

The dock supports horizontal and vertical viewing angles and you can add an optional battery for portability.

The Kindle Fire is kind of a media Trojan Horse so it’s only fitting that this reader/video player/music device gets its own speaker dock. At $130 I wouldn’t break my leg trying to get to the store to pick one up, but if you’re in the market and the Fire is your fave device, it may make sense.
