Digital Folio is launching today as an intelligent web-based shopping list for consumers. The company is also announcing that it has raised $1.2 million in angel funding.

Via a browser plugin, a shopper drags and drop a product from retailer such as Amazon,
BestBuy, Sears, Target, or Walmart.com into their Digital Folio sidebar and the best prices
of that product at other major retailers are immediately displayed. Digital Folio’s in-list price tracking and retailer comparisons make discovering additional savings fairly easy.

The platform also allows shoppers to compare entire retail listing pages, track product price changes, and share shopping lists with friends and family. In the near future, Digital Folio will also deliver directly to consumers real-time promotions specific to items in consumers’ shopping lists.

Digital Folio will also suggest replacement items for products you’ve saved that are no longer carried by a retailer. And In-list price tracking continues even after you buy take full advantage of retailers’ Price Match guarantees, in case the price drops.

For any power shoppers who are creating holiday shopping lists, Digital Folio is worth a try!
