    You thought you could get away from it didn’t you? No. Your post lunchtime check-in on Facebook will now be interrupted by Rupert Murdoch, James Murdoch and Rebekah Brooks, who today will be questioned by MPs over the phone hacking scandal live on the social network at 2.30pm.

    Streaming specialist Rightster is handing the feed, which will go out globally. The live feed of the UK Parliamentary hearing into the into the News International phone hacking furore is being provided by TV news channel ITN.

    It’s not the first time Facebook has streamed a live event, but they are usually… pop concerts.
