    The netbook is back, baby! And it’s happy! Acer just announced the multicolored Aspire One Happy 2 netbook that’s actually headed to the US market. Strangely though, even in 2011, the hardware specs are ripped right out of the history books. The netbook might not be dead, but it should be.

    Inside the Skittle-colored netbooks is a dual-core Atom N570 CPU, 250GB hard drive, WiFi, 1GB of RAM and a 10.1-inch screen is located behind the colorful lid.

    So you, as an educated consumer, can get one of these netbooks for $269, which would have been considered a turd two years ago, or you can save up a couple more dollars for a modest ultaportable notebook. It’s up to you.
