Milo Yiannopoulos’ credibility has been shot to pieces. Telegraph isn’t looking too great either but at least it’s not running his cheap attacks on the people who actually make this industry tick – developers and entrepreneurs who may make mistakes but at least don’t sneer from the sidelines. Like several people have said, this whole thing has been “not cool” and nor is the guy behind it.

The winding up of Wrong Agency is not mysterious. It was automatically struck off ; most likely due to the fact that the director/s failed to submit an annual return.

Also, I’m not sure why somebody’s personal finances would have any impact on their ability (or credibility) to run an event or business. People and businesses borrow money to make things happen, just ask Wonga…

Max Niederhofer is someone I have respect for and I think he’s making a big mistake allowing himself to be seen as a Milo Yiannopoulos cheerleader AFTER it’s become obvious that the guy has had more than one identity and isn’t all he seems.

No word at all from Milo Yiannopoulos, whose tweets suggest he’s in San Francisco. He’s not defending himself which is sensible if there is more to come out about his business ‘ventures’. For someone who made pretty heavy use of social media and other platforms to crush people’s reputations or political views, oozing contempt and generally coming across like a camp Richard Littlejohn, he doesn’t seem to understand that *It works both ways, Milo*. He has made enemies from the biggest media groups to the smallest baby start-up but he seems to think that they’re too stupid to use Google or maybe that they don’t have access to British websites in San Francisco. He must have known that the Wonga story would break yet he’s busy touting himself as a mentor and potential VC in the Valley. He arranges a mighty plug from TechCrunch for a laughable proposal called Hipster Ventures even though there’s a big unexploded bomb ticking away with Start-Up 100 written on it. This whole episode is an exercise in rough justice – you could call it cyber-justice.

Wounded VC – if Milo is up to his ears in debt, how did he manage to organize Startup 100?
And whats the connection between the events and the winding-up of the mysterious WRONG AGENCY Ltd (see posts below). I dont get it. What was the telegraph up to? Looks like Milo was quite a threatening figure for lots of startups who were scared witless that he’d monster them in his telegraph column, which I notice has now disappeared. My own startup isnt sexy enough to have attracted the interest of Milo Yiannopoulos and after everything thats happened over these last few days – thank goodness for that!
I never want to be part of a scene made up of seedy adventurers who treat this struggling sector as a branch of show business that they can exploit so they can get rich and famous really quickly off the back of other people’s hard work.
