The dudes over at PocketNow tore apart a pre-release ROM leaked by the growingly notorious 911Sniper, and found the following:

• WiMax support, so we’re almost certainly looking at a Sprint release here
• 1.2 Ghz CPU
• WiFi 802.11b/g/n
• FM Receiver/Transmitter
• 1.3 megapixel front camera (presumably there’s a rear camera as well, but we’re not sure of the megapixel rating yet)
• 768MB RAM
• Same 4″ qHD display as the EVO 3D, though this one likely isn’t 3D.
• Runs Android 2.3.3 out of the box

Put it all together, and it looks like we’re lookin’ at what Sprint will presumably call the HTC EVO 2.
