While electric bikes per se are a good, eco-friendly concept, a lot of the models out there actually look pretty boring. Not so Panasonic’s BE-ENZ032 [JP], a sports e-bike that just went on sale in Japan (Panasonic says that the design was inspired by Motocross bikes).

The 20-inch, 3-gear bike is powered by a 26V-5Ah lithium ion battery and weighs 21.6kg. It features a travel range of 21/24/37km in the power/automatic/eco modes.

In Japan, Panasonic has started selling the bike in three color variations (all pictured) last week for $1,420.
