Wacom Outs First Its iPad Accessory, The Bamboo Stylus

It takes a novel feature or clever gimmick for a touchscreen stylus to make news. The niche product hasn’t been innovated since aliens built the pyramids. But Wacom is now making a touchscreen stylus. That’s news.

The Bamboo Stylus builds upon the company’s long-standing love with styli. It’s weighted, comes in black and silver, and constructed out of a “satin-textured” metal. The company claims that the 6mm tip aids in precision, making this stylus more precise than alternatives and with a sticker of just £25 (about $41), you probably don’t need for reviews to confirm that claim. This touchscreen stylus just jumped to the top of my want list. Shipping in Europe this May. [RegHardware]
