Video: Hackers Kick Windows Phone 7 Off The HTC HD7, Replace It With Android

Oh, Android; what can’t you run on? People have forced you into iPhones, eBook readers, OMPCs, and I’m pretty sure someone out there has to have hacked you to run on their fridge. (Because anyone can get a fridge that keeps food cool. But a fridge that plays Angry Birds? That’s where it’s at.)

The latest patient to have its innards replaced with Android: the generally Windows-Phone-7-powered HTC HD7. I’m still sleuthin’ around the video above to determine its legitimacy — but so far, it all seems solid. If all’s legit, I’m pretty sure this is the first time we’ve seen a Windows Phone 7 handset running a custom ROM of another operating system.
