A Chinese games company, ShunXiang Technology, has created a four-player, arcade version of Plants Vs. Zombies. “Great,” you say. “I love PvZ!” But wait, there’s more!

Popcap Games, creator of the original PvZ, did not authorize the clone and ShunXiang took it upon themselves to produce, build, and sell the game without Popcap’s permission. The pirate game appeared at an arcade show in Guangzhou.

Another Chinese games maker created an Angry Birds carnival game, complete with plush pigs and birds, so the Zombies aren’t the only ones getting ripped off.
