Video: Japan Develops Large Capacitive Cloth

Researchers at Japan’s National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology are developing a big cloth that’s embedded with capacitive touch sensors. To what end, you ask? The idea is to one day create wearable clothing—is “wearable clothing” redundant?—that “sense[s] what’s happening around the wearer.”
