This is pretty cool, though I’m not sure it’ll get that much love. Microsoft just played a video here at MWC showing what they stressed was real code that allows for interaction between Windows Phone 7 and Kinect. Well, it wasn’t really Kinect-specific, except that the guy was playing a Kinect game.

They focused on the Kinect thing, but I really think they need to push just the plain phone-console connection. Using the phone as a second screen, be it for multiplayer, inventory management, or some other feature, strikes me as a really natural way to make your platform special. I’m sure we’ll hear more about this soon.
