Rightware, the same company that does Audi’s MMI interface, will be showing their new Stereoscopic 3D interface for Android’s home screen next week at MWC. The 3D home screen is based on the Rightware Kanzi UI, a platform for displaying complex 3D UIs on mobile devices. Also, developing the home screens can be done on Rightware’s Kanzi Studio design tool with a PC. Tero Sarkkinen, CEO of Rightware, said they have, “The world’s first fully functioning stereoscopic 3D home screen for Android…it’s now up and running, and will be show-cased by Rightware at Mobile World Congress.” Luckily we were able get ahold of pictures and video first.
