At HP’s webOS event this morning, the Palm Pre 3 was announced. It’s basically a jumbo Pre, with a nice big 3.6″ display at 800×480. Rubenstein described it as having the largest QWERTY keyboard of any Palm phone so far. Like its baby brother the Veer, the Pre 3 has HSPA+ or EVDO Rev A. Processor is a Qualcomm MSM 8×55 running at 1.4GHz.

It comes with 8 or 16 gigs of storage, and has all the sweet goodies inside that you like: accelerometer, proximity and light sensors, a compass, and it’ll work with Touchstone accessories.

The rear camera is five megapixels with autofocus and an LED flash, which will take 720p video, and the front-facing camera is VGA, as expected.

Availability is “this summer.”
