Fling Brings Joystick To The Top Of The iPad

Ushering in the new era of touch panels come the lack of feeling any mechanical feedback. Just when we thought it was too late, Ten One Designs comes out with Fling, a tactile game controller for the iPad.

Simply snap it down onto the iPad glass via suction cups and bam, you’re in business. It’s mostly clear, offering a mostly unobstructed view of what lies beneath. The piece that contacts the screen is made of a conductive material that has similar properties to your finger tip.

Obviously, it will only work with certain games, but for many this $25 piece can be useful in the land of sans feedback. Right now you can get on the list for preorders January 6th.
